Marlon Dumlao

Marlon Dumlao - Co-Executive Director

Marlon Dumlao has had extensive experience in Filipino folk dance and music. From 1989-1994, he actively participated in UCLA’s PCN’s as a dancer, Committee Member, Choreographer, Dance Lead, and Coordinator. He danced with Kayamanan Ng Lahi for five years. Mr. Dumlao’s leadership roles include serving as Dance Master for Sarindiwa and Sining Ginto, and Artistic Director/Choreographer/Dance Master for Saring Lahi. He is currently a Dance Master and musician in Parangal. He is skilled in Philippine ethnic instruments including the agong, dabakan, gandingan, and gangsa. Mr. Dumlao has played as an ethnic instrumentalist for PCN’s in San Francisco and the Bay Area for the last eight years. He performed for the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival with Parangal in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
